Last week NHL Solarboat Racing welcomed two more sponsors: TCNN and the Excellence program of NHL University of Applied Sciences. Both these sponsors will support us in a financial way because this is the most useful for us at the moment. Besides this supporting NHL Solarboat Racing in a financial way is also the best way for the sponsors.
NHL University of Applied Sciences has talented and motivated students, who are willing to do new things with other students. NHL University of Applied Sciences offers the students the opportunity to improve themselves by participating in the Excellence Programa. There are three main themes in ExcellentNHL: expanding talent, innovation and entrepreneurship. Students of various courses work together: they each look at a complex question from their own discipline which results in a multidisciplinairy approach.
TechnologieCentrum Noord-Nederland (TCNN) is the place to be for technological projects between small and medium sized enterprises and knowledge institutes / universities in the Northern Netherlands. The key words are: innovation and cooperation. TCNN is involved in several projects, like:
- MariTIM – LNG for passenger vessels
- Sustainable energy for the shrimp fishery
- Hot Spots Sustainable Energy
